For healthcare Providers
A Local Pedorthic Resource for Your Patients
At Rapha Medical, we work alongside physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide personalized footwear, orthotic, and bracing solutions for patients with foot and lower-extremity needs.
As Certified Pedorthists, we evaluate each patient's individual needs and provide, fit, and modify pedorthic devices to complement their overall plan of care.
When to Consider a Pedorthic Referral
A patient may benefit from pedorthic services when they are experiencing:
Difficulty finding properly fitting footwear
Diabetes or diabetes-related foot conditions
Foot deformities
Neuropathy and pressure concerns
Pre-ulcerative calluses or areas of excessive pressure
Gait or mobility concerns
Difficulty accommodating a brace or orthosis in standard footwear
A need for custom foot orthotics
A need for therapeutic or diabetic footwear
A need for shoe modifications
Footwear needs following surgery or rehabilitation
How We Can Help
Therapeutic & Diabetic Footwear
We evaluate and fit therapeutic footwear for eligible patients whose medical conditions require specialized footwear. We assist with the fitting process and required documentation and can verify benefits and coverage requirements for participating insurance plans.
Custom Foot Orthotics
We provide custom and prefabricated foot orthoses designed around the patient's individual foot shape, functional needs, and treatment goals.
Shoe Modifications
When standard footwear isn't enough, we can modify shoes to better accommodate a patient's individual needs.
Common modifications include:
Heel lifts
Rocker soles
Wedges
Flares
Stretching
Spot relief
Leg-length discrepancy modifications
Other custom modifications as appropriate
Lower-Extremity Bracing
We provide fitting and adjustment services for appropriate lower-extremity bracing solutions and work to ensure the brace and footwear function together as comfortably and effectively as possible.

We believe that providing the best care requires collaboration.
Our goal is to complement the work of the patient's healthcare team—not replace it. We welcome communication with physicians, therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals involved in the patient's care.
When appropriate, we can provide updates regarding the patient's evaluation, fitting, and pedorthic recommendations.
Insurance coverage varies depending on the patient's condition, plan, and specific benefits.
Rapha Medical works with participating Medicare Advantage and Dual-Eligible plans, including plans such as UnitedHealthcare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Humana and Aetna. We also accept All Oklahoma Medicaid, Cigna and health Choice. We can verify a patient's specific benefits and coverage requirements before proceeding.
For eligible patients with diabetes, applicable insurance benefits may provide coverage for therapeutic footwear and inserts when required medical eligibility and documentation criteria are met.
